Position: Specialist/ Ophthalmologist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist/ Ophthalmologist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care and possess strong clinical and surgical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose and treat eye diseases and conditions

- Perform surgical procedures such as cataract surgery, LASIK, and other refractive surgeries

- Prescribe and administer medications, eye drops, and other treatments

- Monitor and manage patients with chronic eye conditions

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients

- Keep up-to-date with advancements in the field of ophthalmology and participate in continuing education activities

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients

- Adhere to all medical and ethical standards and guidelines

Qualifications:

- Medical degree from an accredited institution

- Board certification in Ophthalmology

- Valid license to practice in Qatar

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Specialist/ Ophthalmologist

- Excellent clinical and surgical skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work well in a team environment

- Fluent in English, knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
